Over a decade ago I went crazy on Ebay and bid on a manual focus Minolta 100-500mm f8 zoom lens. I know I converted to autofocus cameras about 2004, so the lens is at least ten years in my possession, and according to a list of Minolta lenses it dates to the late 70s or early 80s. There’s not much of an opportunity to use this lens, as its a heavy one, but the patio overlooking the east mall on the roof of the Department of Labor building seemed a perfect opportunity.
