Welcome to Chantilly Regional Library’s

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Daria Parnes, Chantilly Regional Library Branch Manager, working the Friends of the Chantilly Library, and supported by the Fairfax County Public Library system management organization, arranged for the refurbishment of the library.  With supplemental financing from the county, the Friends contributed in excess of $150,000 which enabled the library to rebuild and relocate its children’s room, move and construct new circulation and information desks as well install new carpet.  After several years of effort, the Library held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Leap Year’s Day 2012, with invited guests including Sam Clay, Director, Fairfax County Library System; Michael Frey, Sully Supervisor; Teresa Johnson, Chantilly High School Principal; and John Finneman, President, Friends of Chantilly Regional Library.
