We've had our 2009 Cadillac CTS since 2008. The original navigation system could determine when we were on I66 during its HOV restricted times, and would warn us to ensure we obeyed all laws - meaning that we should have the required number of riders to qualify for the HOV-2 restrictions.
In 2014 we upgraded the navigation system, and since that time, the system fails anytime we enter the HOV restricted zone during its enforcement period, but not at other times. The navigation system shows we are at our destination after it tries to recalculate when we enter the zone, or if we try reentering our destination while in the zone, it shows that we are at our destination at the point of reprogramming.
Although I called technical support through OnStar, I was told the car needed to be brought into the dealer for examination. I've posted these videos so Cadillac, the dealership and the world can see these Cadillac HOV Navigation Failures
